Guidewire Software Development Internships are offered to college students who are working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science. Internships are paid work experiences that are held during the summer.


Students with a passion for technology and software development are encouraged to apply. As an intern, students will write code and work with experienced software engineers on meaningful projects. They will also be able to work with other interns and gain valuable insight into a career in software development.




Applicants must be knowledgeable about web-based applications and technologies, scripting, Agile software development and application servers. To apply, students may speak to a software engineer during campus recruiting visits from Guidewire, or they may apply online. Students will be required to complete a coding test.


Guidewire is a California-based organization that was formed in 2001 to produce software solutions for the insurance industry. Their software products are used to sell insurance policies, settle claims, and bill insurance customers.
