Pet Supplies Plus is set to ‘make its paw print’ in your neighborhood with the opening of a new store in Wayne, PA. Come to our job fair to learn more about exciting opportunities at Pet Supplies Plus.

Job Fair:

• When: April 24th and 25th

• Time: 2-4pm

• Location: Marriott Courtyard located 762 W Lancaster Ave

A team member at Pet Supplies Plus delivers the company’s vision of America’s favorite neighborhood pet store by providing exceptional service to their pet customers and their people companions. Helping a neighbor select the perfect treat or toy, engaging at the register, stocking shelves, or feeding and cleaning small furry pets is all in a day’s work for a team member.

Team members can specialize in any of the following areas:

Cashier

• Deliver knowledgeable service to our customers

• Process purchases with accuracy and efficiency

• Provide information on our preferred pet club membership

• Act as a back-up Stocker or Pet Care Team Member as required

Stocker

• Deliver knowledgeable service to our customers

• Unload delivery trucks using the proper equipment

• Stock shelves

• Carry merchandise to customer cars

• Understand the layout of the store

• Act as a back-up Cashier or Pet Care Team Member as required

Pet Care

• Deliver knowledgeable service on fish, small furry pets, reptiles and birds

• Care for the pets in our store, which may include cleaning fish tanks, reptile habitats, small pet and bird cages as well as watering, feeding, and handling animals in the store

• Act as back-up Stocker and Cashier as required

Requirements:

Interacting with our neighbor’s dogs, cats and other pets is part of our culture and the Pet Supplies Plus experience. All positions require a passion for people and their pets. The Store Team Member position can be physically demanding, requiring heavy lifting (40-65lbs) and standing for long periods of time. Candidates must be flexible in working evenings, weekends and holidays as part of the job requirement. All candidates must pass the drug, background and validated selection test, and be 16 years or older.
