MANAGEMENT ANALYSTS NEEDED

PennDOT is in need of Management Analysts in Harrisburg.
Management Analyst 1’s perform technical analysis work with emphasis on areas such as, but not limited to, work flow processes or procedures which are clerical or easily defined; space allocation studies not requiring elaborate floor plans; or records management systems. Work involves gathering necessary background data, analyzing the data, developing recommendations, and preparing reports. Work may also involve assisting higher level management analysts or assisting as a team member with designated segments of overall studies of any managerial process or procedure, or comprehensive organizational unit.
Annual Salary Range: $36,636-$55,687
Management Analyst 2’s perform journey level technical analysis work with emphasis on areas such as, but not limited to, work methods and procedures, organizational structures, administrative issuances, forms, or space and facilities. Work involves gathering necessary background data, analyzing the data, developing conclusions and recommendations, and preparing oral and written reports. Work includes interviewing employees and supervisors in operational or program units, conducting on site inspections, and negotiating for approval of recommendations. Work may also involve leading other management analysts in studies of managerial processes or procedures, or comprehensive organizational studies affecting varied organizational units, or which have department wide impact.
Annual Salary Range: $41,839-$63,590
Minimum Requirements

Management Analyst 1 (01010)- One year of experience as an Administration and Management Trainee performing technical management analysis work; or one year of experience in technical
management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Management Analyst 2 (01020)- One year of experience as a Management Analyst 1; or two years of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
