PennDOT has a critical need for Bridge Engineers in our Central Office Harrisburg location at this time. Opportunities range from entry level bridge engineering work for those with limited experience in bridge and structural design or analysis-to highly experienced individuals reporting to the Assistant Chief Bridge Engineers

Entry Level Job Titles:

Civil Engineer, Bridges
Senior Civil Engineer, Bridges
Senior Civil Engineer Supervisor, Bridges

Higher Level Job Titles: 

Civil Engineer Manager, Bridges
Civil Engineer Consultant, Bridges

The higher level Bridge Engineering positions have a salary range of $57,643-$82,015. The starting salary is negotiable based on experience. The Commonwealth offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. Incentives are also provided for employees in approved job titles who possess or obtain Professional Engineer licensures and/or Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certificates.
