Event Details: Customs and Border Protection NY/NWK will be hosting a career informational event for veterans. Current vacancies, application process, and veterans preference with the federal government will be discussed. Specialists will be on hand to address questions about the hiring process and how it relates specifically to transitioning veterans. Customs and Border Protection secures the nation's borders, while facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel, safeguards the nation's homeland at and beyond its border and enforces U.S. laws and regulations. Directions to Event: Public tranportation: 1 block from Newark Penn Station 1100 Raymond Blvd is on the corner of McCarter Highway/Route 21 and Raymond Blvd. There is no parking on site, numerous lots are in the surrounding area with varying fees.
