Government, Corporate, and Foundation Research Seminars

Dear Friend,

In these difficult economic times, I remain committed to assisting non-profit organizations with information and resources about funding opportunities.

To provide local non-profits with a better understanding of how to research available funding sources, I am hosting two half-day grant seminars in Philadelphia and Blue Bell next week.

The seminars, entitled "Government, Corporate, and Foundation Research," are targeted to staff, board members, and volunteers of local non-profits, as well as to those seeking to start non-profits.

These seminars will help organizations how to navigate the federal grants system, which offers more than 1,000 grant programs and access to approximately $500 billion in annual awards.

The agenda also includes a comprehensive overview of navigating federal search engines, conducting foundation and corporate research, tailoring proposals to specific funding sources, and an introduction to local Foundation Centers' resources.

The event is free and open to the public. The seminars will provide the same content, but are held in two different locations to better serve individuals.

Where to Protect Your Money If There's A Financial Crash

If you are concerned about a financial crash and the devaluation of the dollar, there are several options to consider for protecting your money: Diversify your portfolio: It's important to diversify your investments across different asset classes, such as stocks, bonds, real estate, and commodities. This will help spread your risk and minimize the impact of any one investment on your overall portfolio. Invest in precious metals: Gold and silver have traditionally been considered safe havens during times of economic uncertainty. Investing in these metals can provide a hedge against inflation and currency devaluation. Consider foreign currencies: Investing in foreign currencies, such as the euro or yen, can provide a hedge against a falling dollar. However, this strategy carries currency risk, and it's important to carefully research and evaluate the risks and potential returns. Hold cash: Holding cash in a safe and secure location can provide peace of mind during times of ...

In 2026, building a business with AI doesn't require any technical background. It requires curiosity, a clear idea of what problem you want to solve, and the willingness to learn a few new tools. That's it. This post is going to walk you through exactly how to do it — step by step, plain language, no fluff. Welcome to the Smarter Hustle. First, Let's Talk About What AI Actually Does for Your Business Before we dive into tools, it's important to understand why AI changes the game for everyday entrepreneurs. Think about what it used to cost to start a real business. You needed a website — that me...
