The applications for the Deputy U.S. Marshal (DUSM) position will be submitted using the www.usajobs.gov website. The announcement will be posted on March 5, 2012, at 11:59 p.m. EST. The announcement will remain open for 5 days, or until the day on which 5000 applications have been received. ASSESSMENT:All applicants will be initially evaluated for the DUSM position based on their ability to meet the established minimum qualifications. The candidates that meet these minimum qualifications will be scheduled for the two-part OPM examination. Upon successful completion of the exam, applicants will be scheduled for the structured interview process. Categorical ranking will be used to determine a candidates’ eligibility for selection as part of this announcement. The entire evaluation process may take as long as 10-12 months to complete.
